Trump's saber-rattling in Venezuela is illegal | Kenneth Roth

Trump's threats towards Venezuela are super concerning... I think what's really worrying here is the fact that no actual armed conflict exists between US & Venezuela 🚨. It feels like he's just trying to exert control over the region and undermine Maduro's government without actually thinking about the consequences.

The whole "narco-terrorist" label thing is also pretty shady... how can you justify labeling private organizations as combatants in an alleged "armed conflict"? 🤔 And what's with the secrecy around those secret memos? If Trump wants to legitimize these actions, he should be transparent about it instead of hiding behind some dodgy bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo.

The thought of the ICC taking a closer look at this situation is definitely on my mind... if there's any hope for accountability here. We can't let politicians like Trump just get away with disregarding international law and pushing their agendas without consequences 😬

I'm telling you, it's like Trump thinks he's above the rules 🙄. Deploying an aircraft carrier and military helicopters near Venezuela is just a massive show of force, and I don't buy that it's about stopping narco-terrorists... it's all about regime change 🤥. And let's not forget those deadly attacks on suspected drug-running boats - what even is that? Just a bunch of innocent people getting killed for the sake of some questionable "law enforcement" operation 💀.

And have you seen the memo justifying these actions? Like, where's the transparency? Where's the accountability? It's all very shady 🕵️‍♂️. The ICC should be all over this, if you ask me 🚔. We can't just let world leaders get away with disregarding international law and using force without a care in the world 🌎.

It's time for Trump to take responsibility for his actions... or else we'll see a full-blown crisis on our hands 😬. The international community needs to hold him to account, and fast 💪.

Trump's threatening behavior towards Venezuela is super worrying 🤕. He's basically saying he'll do whatever it takes to get rid of Maduro, but what about the people of Venezuela? They're already struggling with food shortages and medical crisis – just what they need is a US invasion 😩. The UN Charter is clear: no force without permission, and this whole thing smells like an invasion attempt 🚫.

And let's be real, who needs an "armed conflict" to justify killing people on boats? That's just plain cruel 💀. Trump thinks he can just use his military might to get what he wants, but that's not how it works – there are consequences for this kind of behavior 😒.

🚨 Trump's actions towards Venezuela are super concerning! I mean, deploying an aircraft carrier and labeling people as "narco-terrorists" sounds like a huge escalation to me 🤯. The fact that there's no actual armed conflict between the US and Venezuela makes it really shady. And let's be real, we all know about Trump's history of making questionable decisions 😒.

But what really gets my goat is how the administration is trying to hide behind international law 🚫. By keeping their motives secret in a memo, they're basically saying "we can do whatever we want and not get held accountable" 👮‍♂️. That's not how it works! We need to hold our leaders accountable for their actions.

The fact that these operations are being justified as part of an "armed conflict" is also super fishy 🎣. The alleged drug runners aren't even combatants in the Venezuelan army, so it doesn't make sense to be calling them terrorists. And the summary killings on those boats? Absolutely unacceptable 💀.

Trump's willingness to disregard laws and norms is a major concern for global stability 🔒. We need world leaders to prioritize accountability and uphold international law, not just do whatever they want without consequences 🤦‍♀️.
