In Week 11 of the NFL, it's time to make some picks for those desperate gambles and survivor pool hopefuls. Let's dive into the games this week.
The New York Jets are at home against the New England Patriots, with a spread of -13 points in favor of the Pats. If you're still alive in your survivor pool (and if I'm lucky enough to be), this could be a great opportunity to advance while others fall by the wayside. So go ahead and give me the hedge – take the Jets at +13. Not only will it guarantee an ATS win, but who knows, maybe the Pats won't cover that big of a spread.
The Dolphins are looking to bounce back from last week's loss as they host the Washington Commanders in Miami. The Commanders have been struggling all season long and are due for some regression. Lay the 2.5 points with the Dolphins, and enjoy the warm weather in Madrid while you watch these two teams battle it out.
The Packers are heading to New York to take on their NFC East rivals, the Giants. With Jameis Winston at quarterback, the Giants could very well pull off a shocking upset. But I'm sticking with my initial pick – the Packers will win this one easily.
In the AFC West, the Bills are hosting the Buccaneers. I know many of you might be thinking, "But Jimmy, the Bucs have been on fire this season!" And they probably have. However, I still believe that Buffalo is overrated, and Tampa Bay's quarterback play will get them through.
The Steelers are looking to build momentum as they host the Bengals in Pittsburgh. While Cincinnati has had some success recently, it's hard to argue with my pick – the Steelers will come out on top.
In Monday night action, the Texans are taking on the Titans at home. The Titans are struggling all season long, and the Texans have already beaten them once this year. This one feels like a lock.
The Lions are hosting their division rivals, the Eagles. Both teams are talented and could very easily win a game against anyone else in the league. But with both teams being banged up, I'm going to have to go with my gut – the Eagles will come out on top.
Finally, it's Monday night showdown between the Cowboys and Raiders. This one feels like a "bad game" for both teams, but I love picking the underdog (or in this case, the worse team). Take the Raiders at +3.5 points against the Cowboys.
Now onto my survivor pool pick – if you haven't used the Patriots yet, take them. They're still double digits in favor, so it's a no-brainer. However, if you already picked the Patriots and are deciding between the Texans or Packers, I'd go with the Texans by a hair's breadth.
