A 21-Year-Old Woman Shot Fatally in Austin Shooting, Friend Injured
Police have launched an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred on November 22nd at approximately 1:18 a.m. in the 800 block of North Waller Avenue, where two women were walking alone on the sidewalk.
According to authorities, a white sedan suddenly stopped and an individual fired shots, striking both women. The 21-year-old victim was shot multiple times and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Her companion, identified as a 23-year-old woman, received non-life-threatening injuries in the ankle area.
Despite efforts by law enforcement, no arrests have been made yet, leaving the investigation ongoing. The police are currently reviewing the case and collecting evidence to identify the perpetrator.
